What cards or methods of payment does Parkmobile accept?

While you are able to choose from several payment options, it is important to determine which payment methods are accepted by the parking operator in your area. If you choose a payment method that is not accepted by the parking operator, your charge will be declined and you will need to switch payment methods to complete a successful transaction.

You can add a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express card to your account. Additionally, you may pay parking fees using the Parkmobile Wallet or your PayPal account. Parking fees are charged to your account by the parking operator. Before using Discover, American Express card, Parkmobile Wallet, or PayPal, please ensure that the parking operator accepts them. You can search here in our Help Center for your parking operator or authority to see which payment methods are accepted in your area.

If you will not be using Parkmobile Wallet or PayPal, we strongly suggest that you use a Visa or MasterCard as your primary credit card. However, if you want your Discover or American Express card listed as the primary credit card, Parkmobile suggests that you use a Visa or MasterCard as your secondary credit card for instances where the parking operator does not accept Discover or American Express.

You can add any credit card, debit card, or charge card that carries a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express logo. You can also use gift cards that carry these logos in some cases, but note that some parking authorities use payment processors which may not accept these. Additionally, you can use your parking/commuter benefits card issued by employers in most cases, as well. If you have trouble with any of these, submit a support request or email us at helpdesk@parkmobileglobal.com and we'll be glad to help.
