The City of Spokane passes on the 35-cent transaction fee per parking session to parkers.
How Will Enforcement Officers Know That I've Paid? Will My Payment Show on the Meter?
Mobile payments are pushed to the City's new space-based meters and should show on the device within a minute or two. Payment does not show on kiosks. Parking Services uses license plate recognition as well as handheld devices to verify payment in the Paid Parking Zone. License plate numbers as well as the zone and space must be entered correctly in order for your parking session to be valid.

Zone numbers and space numbers vary from block to block; some blocks only have a zone number. Zone and space numbers must be entered correctly in order for your parking session to be valid. You must locate the Zone and Space number if applicable located on the mobile payment decal on the device where you are parked. If you are paying for a space, be sure you are paying for the correct space. City of Spokane on-street parking zone numbers range from 80011-84504. There are other operators in Spokane who also offer ParkMobile app for payment, so be sure you are looking at the signs where you are parking and not relying on location alone.

The ParkMobile phone number to pay for parking for the City of Spokane is 1-833-930-0057, this is for -on-street Parking. The phone system is automated, but will allow you to create a guest account or extend your parking session if applicable. You will need to create an account using your phone number, creating an account is free not $5. Please be patient, you cannot press a number until all options are read.

Can transactions in zones in this area be stopped? Extended? Why or why not?
Once a parking session has started it cannot be stopped. If you paid for the wrong zone and space, start a new session with the correct zone and space number. Then contact ParkMobileto request a refund for your double payment. They will verify your plate number matches and you have two concurrent parking sessions for the same zone, date and time and then issue a refund for the duplicate session. You can extend your parking session up to the maximum time limit, but must do so before your parking session ends. You cannot extend your session as a guest.
What do I do if I get a parking citation in this area?
Parking Services is responsible for issuing tickets in the Paid Parking Zone. Once a ticket is issued it becomes the responsibility of Municipal Court. If ticketed follow the information on the back of the parking ticket to pay, contest or mitigate. Please contact Municipal Court with questions.
