Parkmobile is a mobile payment solution. As certain information varies by location, the information in this article is ONLY for the parking areas operated by Golden Gate in Larkspur, CA where Parkmobile is offered.
Please note that Parkmobile is the only payment option in this area. If you do not have a smartphone or cannot arrange to pay your daily fee using a computer, you may pay your parking fee with cash onboard the vessel at the concessionaire stand. Remember to have your license plate or stall number with you.

Transaction Fees (Based on Membership Level and Payment Method):
The Parkmobile transaction fees are waived in your parking area. The parking operator absorbs the cost of the transaction fee, so you only pay the standard daily parking rate when using Parkmobile, just as you do when you pay at the parking areas.
When registering for pay by phone parking service with Parkmobile via our website you're given two membership options: "ParkmobilePro Membership", which carries with it a monthly fee, and "Basic Membership", which has no monthly fee. In your area, it currently makes the most sense for you to select the "Basic Membership" instead of the "ParkmobilePro Membership". Since your transaction fees are waived, you wouldn’t get the biggest advantage of a lowered transaction fee anyway. In the future there will be many more benefits included with the "ParkmobilePro Membership" which may influence your decision to choose it for a monthly fee instead of the no monthly fee "Basic Membership".
By default when you register via any other method other than the website, your membership level is set to "Basic Membership".
Additionally, there is no cost to download one of our mobile apps and no cost to register via a mobile app or online.
How Will Enforcement Officers Know That I've Paid? Will My Payment Show on the Meter?
In this area, you will not receive a receipt to display in your vehicle. Instead, the officer will use your license plate number and zone number to view your Parkmobile payment on a handheld device. As such, please make sure to add any additional license plate numbers to your account before creating a parking session in order to make sure your parking transactions are correctly created.
For California customers, please use the temporary license plate number if you do not yet have your permanent license plate. Otherwise, if your vehicle doesn’t have license plates, you can use the stall number in which you are parked OR the last 4 digits of your VIN number, preceded by "VIN," in place of license plate number (for example, you would enter VIN1234).
Note: if you choose to use the stall number, this information would need to be updated daily. After receiving your license plates, you must add the license plate information to your daily parking and/or monthly permit accounts.
Zone Number Information and Range:
Zone numbers are a critical part of your transaction and must be recorded correctly in order for your parking session to be identified correctly by the parking enforcement officers. Zone numbers can vary by area. The zone number listing below is provided as a reference only. You MUST identify your Parkmobile zone number from the Parkmobile signage located in your parking area to ensure you start your session correctly.
In the Larkspur, CA parking areas where Parkmobile is offered, the zone number is currently the same for all locations: 111
Area Specific Parkmobile Phone Number:
The Parkmobile toll-free phone number to reach the automated system to register and/or start or extend your parking sessions is: 877-727-5718 (877 PARK 718). If you are parking in Larkspur, CA and call any other Parkmobile phone number you will be at risk parking in a zone in the wrong geographical area and the parking officers in your area wouldn't see your parking payment in that case.
Payment Methods Accepted:
The payment methods accepted in your area are: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Parkmobile Wallet
(MONTHLY PERMITS CAN ONLY BE PAID FOR WITH VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, OR COMMUTER CHECK)
To redeem paper vouchers to pay for monthly permits, mail voucher along with name, address, phone number and email address to:

PO Box 9000

San Francisco, CA 94129-0601
To ensure permits are valid at the beginning of the month, vouchers must be postmarked by the 23rd of each month to allow time for processing. Paper vouchers are not accepted for daily parking fees.
Can daily transactions in zones in this area be stopped? Extended? Why or why not?
You can not stop a session once started. You must select the amount of time you want in advance and pay for that time with your credit card. If you chose more time than you needed, you will not be able to stop the session or get a refund.
You are not able to extend your parking sessions in these areas as each transaction expires at 12:59 p.m.
The parking authority in this area indicates that internet connectivity is sometimes unreliable at the terminal and onboard vessels. If you are unsuccessful in your attempt to pay your parking fee, try later in the day to do so. Parking fees may be paid until 12:59 p.m. daily. Payment is not required after 1 p.m. or on the weekends. Payment is required between 5 a.m. to 12:59 p.m.
