How does the Parking Availability feature work?

What is the Parking Availability Feature?

The Parking Availability feature gives you the ability to see exactly where the open parking spots are around you. So you can drive directly to the areas where there’s plenty of parking, and avoid the areas where there’s no parking. You can see how the Parking Availability feature works in the video below.

How do I get Parking Availability?

Parking Availability is part of the ParkmobilePro membership. You will need to sign up to be a for ParkmobilePro member in the iOS or Android app. You can get more information about ParkmobilePro HERE.

How do I turn on/off Parking Availability in the app?

Look for the layers button in the bottom right of the map screen.


Check the box for “Availability” to turn on/off the parking availability feature.


How does parking availability work?

In the map view on the app, you will see streets marked with green, yellow, red and gray colors. Here is what the colors mean:


  • Areas marked in gray mean no parking is available
  • Areas marked in red mean all spots are likely full
  • Areas marked in orange means there are likely a few spots available
  • Areas marked in green means there are many spots available
